Suzanne Marie Baughman

Suzanne Marie Baughman, age 69 of Waterford, MI, loving mother of three and adoring wife to husband, passed away on October 2, 2025. Suzanne was born June 4, 1956, to Walter and Lula Fiolek. She grew up in Garden City, MI. She met the love of her life at 19 years old and married John on June 25, 1977. Suzanne devoted 50 wonderful years to her husband, also her best friend.

Suzanne was very caring, supportive, devoted, and always put others first. Family was the most important thing to her. Other things she loved were to paint, spend time on the water with her boat, and visit with her grandchildren. Suzanne always lended an ear or offered advice if needed. She was kind and welcoming, known as the unofficial mom to many others. Suzanne grew up in the Catholic Church, giving back her time to teach religious education for many years. She also helped run a tool and die business where she worked until she retired.

Suzanne was preceded by her loving parents Walter and Lula Fiolek, along with her older brother Walter and younger sister Michelle. She leaves behind loving siblings Michael (Diane) and Jennifer (Arthur). She is survived by her adoring and cherished husband John; children Matthew (Jenny), Michelle (Jonathan), and Marie (Michael); dear grandchildren Nathan, Kayla, Arabella, Johnathan, Zachary, Hailey, Ryan, Aubrey, Joey; many caring nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, MI 48154, on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday October 10, 2025. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 5495 Dixie Hwy., Waterford, MI, 48329, on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 9:30 AM followed by a procession to Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia, MI, for a graveside service.
