Robert E. Rice

Robert Rice, 79, passed away on February 28, 2019. Robert was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and later relocated to Canton/Westland Mi. Robert served in the United States Army. He graduated from Pace University and worked in Finance, he was employed by GMAC for 30+ years. Beloved husband of Jean. Loving father to Ken (Patty), Janet (Ralph), Jim (Kristin), Christine (Barney) and Trish (Bob). Loving Step-father to Greg, Adam (Jen) and Sarah Thomas. Dear grandfather (papa) to Lisa, Melissa, Robbie, Amanda, Joey, Alexandra, Meghan, Jimmy, Sean, Justine, A.J., Eve, Amber, Ethan and Fiona. Preceded in death by his loving wife Ann. Bob enjoyed bowling, golf and spending time with his family. He appreciated a good joke especially when he was telling it. (The cornier the better!) Visitation will be held at R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, 48154 on Thursday, March 14, 1 pm to 7 pm with a rosary at 6:30 pm. Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 15 at 11:00 am.
