Robert E. Nash

Robert Nash, a proud lifelong resident of Livonia, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family at the age of 62. Bob was the beloved husband of Susan Nash for 28 years and the devoted father of Lindsey (Colton) Herrington and Logan Nash. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. and Laura L. Nash.

Bob graduated from Bentley High School in 1981 and earned his bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University. He dedicated almost 30 years of service to the 16th District Court, where he worked as a Probation Supervisor and Court Officer. During retirement he discovered his biggest passion of campaign management for his wife and friends in the City of Livonia.

Outside of work, Bob found his greatest joy in time spent with family and friends, especially during his time in Tawas, Michigan, where he loved boating, snowmobiling, fishing, golfing, grilling, and bonfires. Known for his hard work, he took pride in his organization and cleanliness. Bob touched the lives of many through his kindness and generosity.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family, many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. His memory will live on through all who knew and loved him. He is now at peace, and one day we will see him again.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd. Livonia, MI 48154 on Saturday November 1st 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael’s Catholic School, Mercy High School (Farmington Hills), or the University of Detroit Jesuit High School.
