Monica J. Guthard of Livonia, age 99, passed away on April 20, 2026.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas Guthard and Dong-man Yum. Loving mother of Sue (Dave) Praim, Dominic (CeCe) Yum, Thomas Jacob Guthard, Jr., Jim (Dawn) Guthard and the late Marion Guthard.

Dear sister of Insun Im , Ho Chung Kong and Pong Cho Kong.

Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 1 great , great grandchild.

Monica was a very spiritual woman who enjoyed worshipping Jesus and she exemplified the teachings of the Bible. She was a talented gardener and loved tending to her beautiful flowers. Monica loved hearing the giggles of children and really enjoyed interacting with them. She was kind, determined and smart. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church, 11441 Hubbard St., Livonia, 48150, Friday, April 24, 2026 at 10:30 AM.
