Mildred Louise Patton

January 18, 1927 — May 11, 2026

Livonia

With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Mildred "Millie" Louise Patton, a woman whose life was a beacon of faith, laughter, and music. Born on January 18, 1927, in Charleston, Missouri, Mildred graced this world with her presence for nearly a century until her peaceful departure on May 11, 2026, in Livonia, Michigan.

Mildred was a strong person of faith who loved Jesus deeply, and her spiritual devotion was a guiding light throughout her life. She was not only a devoted believer but also a joyful jokester who loved to laugh, bringing warmth and cheer to all who knew her. Her love for gospel music was profound — she sang with a passion, played the organ with skill, and danced with infectious joy. These artistic expressions were not mere hobbies but lifelong sources of comfort and connection, which enriched her soul and those around her.

Her family meant the world to her, and she is survived by her beloved son Randall Gregg, her daughter Elizabeth (Thomas) Sarko, son Dwight (Tina) Gregg, and stepson Dave (Jo) Patton, who carry forward her legacy. She was a cherished grandmother to Kelly Jo Ellis, Leslie (Dave) Tyler, Eric (Barb) Gregg, Jessica Gregg, Jennifer Gray, Danielle Vergona, Deanna Ansama, Randi (Aaron) Lickly, Christie (Kelly) Tunnell, Jessica Marino, Kaylyn (Cory) Gregg, and Gabrielle Gregg. The light of her life extended even further to her Eighteen great-grandchildren, who will forever hold her memory close. Mildred’s sister, Marge Brewsaugh, along with many nieces and nephews, remain part of her loving family circle.

Mildred's heart was touched by the loss of her son Larry Gregg, daughter-in-law Susan Gregg, husband Ivan Gregg, and husband William Patton, and of course, she is reunited now with her dear parents, Raymond Ward and Lucille Starnes. Their spirits are forever intertwined in the gentle embrace of eternity.

The visitation to honor Mildred’s life will be held on May 14, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at RG & GR Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Services located at 15451 Farmington Rd, Livonia, MI 48154. The funeral service will follow on May 15, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Throughout her long and beautiful journey, Mildred Louise Patton was a steadfast testament to the power of faith, the joy of music, and the healing strength of laughter. She leaves behind a rich legacy that will continue to inspire and uplift all whose lives she touched. We celebrate her life, mourn her loss, and hold onto the precious moments shared with her forever. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
