Mary Margaret Sullivan passed away September 3, 2019 at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was born December 2, 1957, the daughter of Joseph E. and Therese M. (Brennan) Sullivan of Livonia. She graduated from Western Michigan University and subsequently earned a Masters degree at Madonna University. She taught high school in Southfield for many years, teaching at both Southfield and Southfield-Lathrup High Schools. She married David Ellinghausen on December 22, 1990. She is survived by her husband and her sons, John Ellinghausen and Stephen Ellinghausen, all of Livonia. She is also survived by her brothers Joseph (Susan) Sullivan of Dexter, MI, Robert (Cindy) Sullivan of Dundee, MI, John (Sharon) Sullivan of Pickerington, OH, and William Sullivan of San Diego, CA, as well as her sister Ruth (Thomas) Mackson of Louisville, KY, and numerous nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Her parents preceded her in death. Mary had a bright personality and a kind heart, and will be deeply missed by all who loved her. Funeral services include a visitation at Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Road, Livonia from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., September 6, with a scripture service at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at 9:30 a.m., September 7 at St. Aidan Catholic Church, 17500 Farmington Road, Livonia, with public viewing from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. Cremation rites have been accorded, with later burial at Holy Sepulcher in Southfield.
