Leonard McFalls passed away Saturday, February 7th at the age of 59 in his home in Westland, Michigan surrounded by family following a long 2 year battle with a rare T-Cell Lymphoma. Leonard is survived by wife of 32 years, Carolyn Moyer, sons Samuel and Jacob, and daughter Molly. Other survivors include sisters Doris Hitt and Linda Sartin, brother Wayne, nieces Danielle, Jennifer, and Alisha, nephew Richard, and his dog Rocky and cat Gizmo. Lenny worked as a Drywall Finisher for most of his life, before settling into his 10 year stay at a 9 to 5 Apartment Maintenance Position at Hunter's Ridge, where he was known and loved by residents and staff. He could turn ugly into beautiful and fix anything and everything. Lenny was known for that great smile and those hazel eyes and never ending eyelashes. He had the unique ability to always make you feel safe and loved, whether that was through his physical touch or his deep calming voice. He always put others first. Lenny's accomplishments in life came in the form of his love for his home and family. He cared for his three children in morning hours from birth through graduation, while Mom worked nights. With his "military attitude" when it came to time, he shaped them into the beautiful independent individuals they are today. Anyone who was touched by his artistic hands knows what a special talented person he was. Once a resident described Lenny as doing outstanding work along with being very trustworthy, neat, personable and precise (a very hard worker). Lenny was always apart of the solution, in life and now in death. No services are planned for Leonard, however a Memorial tribute is in the planning for a future date. Funeral Home: R.G. & G.R.
