Son of Yvonne Barker. Brother of Yvette Jackson. Uncle of Russell and Noell Jackson. Nephew of Larry (Bernie) Mauzey and Gerri Mauzey.

Kirk enjoyed playing the drums, video games, Science fiction movies, dogs but most of all he treasured being a caregiver to his nephew, Russell.
