Keith D. Peurasaari

Keith DeWayne Peurasaari, 79, of Novi, Michigan, passed away on September 26, 2026. Born on July 22, 1947, Keith grew up in Wayne, Michigan.

Keith was a devoted husband to Donnell, with whom he shared 51 years of marriage. He was a loving and supportive father to Courtney (Scott) Russo and Kevin (Emily) Peurasaari. He was a loving grandfather to Nicolas and Madison. He is also survived by his brothers, Gary and Wesley Peurasaari.

Keith worked as a store manager at Farmer Jack until the company closed, then continued his career as a store manager at Kroger. He was known for his loyalty, generosity, and willingness to give the shirt off his back. Friends and family valued his advice and the time he spent with them.

Keith enjoyed listening to music, barbecuing, visiting with family and friends, going to Detroit sporting events specifically Lions and Tiger games, watching his grandchildren play soccer and Nicolas play baseball. He took great pride in his lawn and could often be found mowing it twice a week.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Eula “Cleo” and Wesley Peurasaari, and his sister, Joyce Peurasaari.

A celebration of Keith's life will be held at a later date. Details will be announced once arrangments have been finalized.
