Joyce Ross

Joyce Marie Ross (D'Amico) age 78 of Plymouth Twp, Michigan passed away August 19, 2025 at Trinity Hospital Livonia, Michigan. She was born December 24, 1946 to the late Alfred D'Amico and Josephine D'Amico (Vincoli).

Joyce was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald (Don) Ross. Don passed a brief 92 days prior to Joyce. He was her lifelong love of 37 years and later in life her devoted caregiver. Joyce was also preceded in death by her stepson Jared Ross and by her sister Harriet Francione (D'Amico).

Joyce was born in Detroit Michigan and in her mid 20's moved to San Diego California where she lived for approximately 15 years. After marriage in 1988 Joyce and Don lived together in New Jersey for several years and moved to Pennsylvania in the 90's. After Don's passing Joyce was moved to Michigan to be closer to family.

Joyce became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in 1969. She was ordained a deaconess in 1998.

Joyce is survived by her sisters Arline Whitton and Marjorie D'Amico, her brother Alfred D'Amico, stepdaughters Suzette Ross and Janette Ross, stepson Jason Ross as well as 4 step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Joyce's life is planned for Saturday, September 27 at 10:45 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ 36350 W 8 Mile Road, Farmington Hills, Michigan 48335. A casual luncheon served at the church will follow.

 The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to The Church of Jesus Christ Aliquippa, PA branch and/or the Farmington Hills Michigan branch or to the Dementia Society of America.
