Joseph "Joey" Foley

Joseph "Joey" Foley of Farmington Hills, age 67, passed away on September 21, 2025.

Beloved husband of Sylvie for 43 years. Dear brother of: Cathy, Drew (Trudy), Connie (Mike), Danny (MaryAnn), Judy, Jim (Maryjo), Margaret Ann (Angelo), PJ (Pendragon) and Ellen (Don).

Joe was a flight attendant for 22 years after he left the Auto Industry, he loved his job and he was loved and appreciated by everyone. Joe was very funny, personable and could make an entire airplane laugh. His jokes were endless! His family loved him so much. He loved to golf and and loved to travel even more. He loved his dog Luna, and the plan was and still is to train her as a therapy dog. Luna helped him through his suffering. He enjoyed discovering new places and wanted to see so many more.. He liked to say that he was "a good guy", and never failed to wish his passengers "have a super sparkling day"!

A visitation will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM followed by a procession to Parkview Memorial Cemetery for a sharing service.

Memorials directed to:   Sally and Bob Goldman Therapy Dog Program - which is part of Henry Ford Health System but solely funded from donations.
