JoAnn Patricia Cooper

JoAnn Patricia Cooper, age 84 of Westland, Michigan, passed away on June 19, 2025.

Loving mother of Judi (John) Czyzewski and cherished grandmother of Amanda and Matthew. JoAnn is also survived by her brother James (Cheryl) McArt and three nephews, Michael (Elena) Venuto, Patrick (Sherie) McArt and Shane (Hannah) McArt and many great nieces and nephews. JoAnn is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Patrick and Donna McArt and her late sister Karen (James) Albert.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, and devoted friend, JoAnn held an unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, which she shared with everyone who surrounded her. She volunteered and served as a member of Northridge Church, participated in Bible study groups, and supported numerous Christian charities.

A Visitation will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia on Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will also be held at R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. The burial will take place at Parkview Memorial Cemetery at 12:00 p.m. with a luncheon to follow.
