Jeffrey Carson Ellsworth

Jeffrey Carson Ellsworth of Howell, Michigan, age 47, passed away suddenly on October 20, 2026. Beloved son of Deborah and Richard Ellsworth. Loving father of Lillian Joyce and Addison Sophia Ellsworth. Dear brother of Jason (Stacy) Ellsworth and Joanne (James) Wilson. Uncle of Sarah Elizabeth Ellsworth. Former husband of Jennifer Ripp Ellsworth.

Jeff graduated from Livonia Stevenson High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Michigan Technological University, where he was a member of Delta Sigma Phi fraternity. He worked as a Senior Paramedic for Huron Valley Ambulance for 20 years. He loved music, playing hockey and golf, and watching sports, especially the Detroit Tigers. Larger than life, Jeff felt deeply and had the best smile. He was the ultimate girl dad to Lillian and Addison, and he loved spending time with his family and visiting their home in Montana. He was also a devoted dog dad to his Field Retriever, Huck, who was his “best boy.” Jeff was a big man with a big presence, and his absence leaves an enormous hole in the lives of those who loved him.

A visitation will take place at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, Monday, October 26, 2026 from 12 noon until his Funeral Service at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family’s preferred memorial is a contribution toward the education of Jeff’s daughters, Lillian and Addison. You may make contributions at ugift529.com using gift code Y25-728 for Lillian or 333-W7E for Addison.
