Janice Faye Avedisian

Janice Avedisian, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026. Born on September 26, 1958, Janice lived a life defined by her fierce devotion to her family, her nurturing spirit, and the joy she found in the simple beauties of life.

Janice was the beloved wife of Robert Avedisian, with whom she built a life full of shared memories. She was the cherished daughter of Margaret Robinson and the late Bennie Robinson, and a dear sister to Sherry DeRush (Dane) and the late Larry Robinson.

As a mother, Janice was the cornerstone of her family. Her legacy lives on through her children, Larry Sanders and his wife Valerie (Felice), Kanina Brinkey (Sanders) and her husband Jerry, Kristina Wong (Avedisian) and her husband Ivan and son Bobby Avedisian.

While she held many titles, perhaps her favorite was "MaButt." She absolutely adored her nine grandchildren—Gianna, Nico, Marina, Valentino, Paige, Abigail, Emily, Kennedy, and Lincoln—who were the true lights of her life. Whether she was teaching them in the kitchen or planting in her garden, her time with them was her greatest treasure.

Janice was a woman of many talents. She was a wonderful cook who knew that food was a love language, often bringing the family together over a home-cooked meal. When she wasn't in the kitchen, she could be found with Harley, Her loyal dog and constant companion, whom she adored.

Her warmth, her wit, and her nurturing soul will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Memorial visitation will be held February 10, 2026 at R.G & G.R. Harris Funeral Home 15451 Farmington Rd, Livonia MI, 48451 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. A Memorial service will be held after the visitaion at 4:00pm.
