Helen Edna Truitt

Helen Edna (Tierney) Truitt passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 101. 

She was the cherished daughter of the late Irwin and Edna Tierney. In 1953 Helen married James F Truitt. Together they raised 2 children, Janet (John) Himmelspach, John (Lisa) Truitt. Her role as grandmother brought her immense joy. 

Her legacy continues in the lives of her 9 grandchildren, Cory (Justin) Wholehan, Annelise Truitt, Mike (Courtney) Truitt, Tim (Bre) Truitt, Becky (Steve) Werner, Molly Truitt, Kate Truitt, Lilly Truitt, Holly (Caleb) Kelley, and her 2 great-grandchildren. Helen lived life with a sense of humor and enjoyed square dancing, Girl Scouts, golf, and roller skating.

 Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
