Geraldine Adele King "Geri"

Geraldine A. King “Geri”, of Taylor, Michigan, age 94, passed away peacefully June 7, 2026.

Wife of the late George King, Jr. Proceeded in death by mother, Geraldine Schurig; Siblings

Edward Brown, Jr., Charles Brown, Elizabeth Bauman, Mary Jane Bruni, Marilyn June Brown,

Patricia Sherwood, Michael Schurig, and James Schurig.

Survived by Richard (Kathy) Brown, Kenneth (the late Evelyn), Robert (the late Nancy)

Schurig, Marilyn Schurig, Jeanette Schurig, and sisters-in-law: Carol Schurig and Lois

Schurig. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews,

great-great nieces, and great-great nephews.

Geri cherished her beloved pets, cared deeply about her family, loved to read, watch old

games shows and solve crossword puzzles. She supported the Michigan Humane Society,

Veteran’s Organization and many other charities.

A visitation will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd.,

Livonia, Friday June 12, 2026, from 2:00pm until her Funeral Service at 7:00pm.
