Dear brother of Harriet Shamel. Dearest grandfather of Diane (James) McDaniel, Eric, Michael, Melissa, Jamie, Amy, Joshua (Kristen) and Adam. George worked as an electrician at General Motors for 25 years. In-state Saturday 10 AM until time of mass at 10:30 AM at St. Edith Catholic Church, 15089 Newburgh Rd (near 5 Mile), Livonia. Visitation Friday 3-9 PM at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia. Scripture Service Friday 7:00 PM. Memorial suggested to family.
