Gelarda "Geraldine" Blanco (Nee Mercieca), Good Friday, 2016. Age 93. Mother of Mary and John (Linda) Blanco, Carmen (Charles) VanAcker, Angelina and Bernadette Blanco. Mother-in-law of Terry Papay and Robert Coulter. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph "Giuzeppi"; daughters, Gloria Papay and Jessie Coulter; and great grandchildren, Seth Simms and Noah Miller. Visitation Tuesday 2-8 p.m. with 7 p.m. Rosary at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia. Funeral Service 9:30 a.m. Wednesday (Instate 9 a.m.) at St. Aidan Catholic Church, 17500 Farmington Rd., Livonia. Please share a memory of Geraldine by signing her guestbook.
