Edwin Felix Wojtowicz

Edwin Felix Wojtowicz, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026 at the age of 94. He was the beloved husband of the late Lorraine (Pasko) and dear father of Ronald Wojtowicz (Diane Fogarty), Kenneth Wojtowicz, Janice (David Bidner) Slattery, Karen Fisher and Mark (Cindy Weeg) Wojtowicz. Proud grandfahter of Shannon (Daniel) Cristler, Brett Fisher (Fiancee Danielle Jastrzembski), Brandon Fisher and Matthew Slattery. Preceded in death by his sisters Irene Alderman and Adele Wojtowicz and a son-in-law Brian Slattery.

Edwin was proud of his Polish heritage and loved to tell stories of growing up in the Old St. Andrew area of Detroit. He served his country in the U.S, Air Force from 1949-1953. He was a dedicated and respected electrician at Ford Motor Company for 40 years. Many memories were made at vacation homes in Hale, MI and cedarvile, MI where Ed and Lorraine welcomed family and friends. Ed could fix anything, enjoyed trips to the casino and supporting his grandkids in all their endeavors.

Cremation has taken place and his final resting place will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Calumet, MI. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to Compass Community Collaboraive, www.c3livingmi.org or Polish
