Edward J. Moros of Livonia, MI went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 after a prolonged time of illness. Born in Detroit, MI July 29, 1937 Ed went on to attend St. Andrews High School in Detroit where he graduated and then met and married the love of his life, Carol (Bazzy) Moros. Early in their marriage Ed began a long and celebrated career with the Detroit Fire Department, where he rose among the ranks to become a Battalion Chief. After 35 years of dedicated service, Ed celebrated his retirement to spend time watching his grandchildren grow. Ed had a passion for fishing and boating, which he has passed on to his children and grandchildren. Many friends and family members share fond memories of time at the lake together. We will all miss his humor and passion for family time. Before he became ill, Ed would never miss any event his grandchildren participated in. The love he held for his kids, could only be surpassed by the love he held for his grandkids. In the later days of his life, Ed rededicated his life to the Lord, being baptized in Jesus’ Name and giving his heart to God. Ed is survived by his wife of 59 years Carol, daughter Cheryl and husband Matt Napper of Wynnewood, OK, daughter Colleen Johnson of Chandler, AZ, daughter Denise and husband John Ambrusco of Milford, CT, son Mark and wife Sarah Moros of Fowlerville, MI, brother Pete and wife Sue Moros of Plymouth, MI, grandchildren Jimmy Johnson, Devan Johnson, Jade Moros, Nick Moros, Ben Moros, Ava Ambrusco and Johnny Ambrusco.
