Age 81. Loving husband of Ruth. Dear father of James (Renee), Christine, Patrick (Chris), Todd, Holly Ruffing (Mike). Beloved grandfather of Rachel Sadowski. Son of the late Harold (Helen). Stepson of the late Thomas Evans and Loraine Ruffing. Douglas enjoyed sports. He especially enjoyed viewing Tiger baseball, and the University of Michigan football. Visitation is Thursday 2-9 pm, and service Friday 10 am, at R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 31551 Ford Road, Garden City.
