Douglas Walter Day

Douglas Walter Day, 71, passed away July 12, 2016, peacefully with his loving wife, Pam, by his side. He was the son of the late Glen and Dorothy Day. Besides his wife of 40 years, he is survived by his brother Darrell (Nancy) Day, his sister Debbie (Peter) Jansen, four nephews and one niece, Robert (Rachelle) Day, Bradley (Kristin) Day, John (Rebecca) Jansen, Jennie Jansen and Matt Lewis, five great nieces and two great nephews. He is also survived by a brother-in-law, Ken (Jan) Adkins. Doug had a rewarding 32 year career with the Ford Motor Company from where he retired 14 years ago. Doug and Pam enjoyed gardening together and vacationing on Mackinac Island. Unfortunately kidney disease and several other illnesses took his life way too soon. He will be deeply missed.
