Dorothy E. Reister

Dorothy Reister Passed away October 21, 2012 at the age of 92 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife for 54 years of the late Clayton R. Reister. Loving mother of John (Judith) Anderson, Kathleen (Michael) Kondogiani, Bruce (Mary Ellen), Gary, Tom (Diane) Reister. Dorothy was also the proud grandmother of 19 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Dorothy was born January 17, 1920 in Cleveland, Ohio and was a longtime resident of Livonia and Redford Township. She worked for over 20 years at Sears. Dorothy loved cooking, gardening, and Shopping. Visitation at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia, Wednesday from 1 - 4, 6 - 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 11 a.m. until Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to The Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
