Donna Mae Curtis

Donna Mae Curtis of Farmington Hills. Age 92 June 15, 2020 Beloved wife of the late Norman Keith Curtis for 70 years. Loving mother of Tracy (Sara) Curtis, Carrie (Gerard) Denomme, Martin Curtis, & Rita Curtis. Dear grandmother of Ogden, Andrew, Wesley & Cody Curtis, Amanda Denomme and Amber Faraji, Todd & Shaun Raby. Also survived by several great and great-great grandchildren. Donna worked for J.L. Hudson Department Store for 17 years and worked at R.G. & G.R. Harris funeral home for several years. Donna enjoyed BINGO, decorating her room for the holiday, Bible studies, Church and the penny auction, even though she didn’t spend a cent. She loved talking and spending time with Carrie after returning to Michigan in the fall of 2019. She was a real trooper through the COVID pandemic, even though Carrie could not get inside, they still visited on the phone through the window and later out in the courtyard separated by a fence. Donna joked that “Grandma was in jail” when Amanda would visit. One day Donna asked Carrie if she could sneak inside her apartment through her bedroom window. She said we could just close the door and no one would ever know. Carrie told Donna that instead maybe she could sneak out through her window and go home with her. Donna loved to joke around and have fun. We would like to thank the staff at Bickford of Okemos Assisted Living for all your love and support. Donna just adored all of you and we appreciate you taking such great care of Donna. Due to COVID-19, visitation will be held for immediate family only on Friday June 19, 2020 at the R.G. & G.R.
