Livonia

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dominick Charles Mack of Livonia, MI on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the young age of 21. Dominick was a devoted son, a caring brother, loving grandson, nephew and cousin. His close relationships with his parents, sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends were at the center of his life. His love for family and friends were matched only by the kindness he extended to everyone around him. His honesty, trustworthiness, and genuine character left a lasting impression on all that knew him.

Born and raised in Livonia, MI, Dominick attended Livonia Schools including Hoover, Riley, Holmes and Stevenson High School where he graduated with honors in 2022. Dominick has a love of learning, continued personal development, and a drive for success that followed him into his college career. A dedicated student, he attended Eastern Michigan University obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with an anticipated graduation in May 2026. This led to his recent acceptance into the Master’s program for Speech and Language Pathology at Grand Valley State University- an accomplishment that reflected both his hard work and his continued devotion to work in a career focused on helping other people.

Dominick has a passion for embracing new experiences in life with a sense of independence which included studying abroad, traveling to New York, Washington DC, along with many other places. He recently gained his dual citizenship with Canada of which he was very proud of. He found great joy in spending time with his friends, creating lasting memories filled with laughter. Known for his kind spirit, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His presence will be greatly missed.

Though his time with us was far too short, his impact will be forever in the hearts of those who loved him. He is survived by his loving parents, Phil and Carrie (Blythe) Mack, his sister Leah Mack, his cat Molly; his grandparents Joe and Jill Blythe, Richard and Margo Simonian, and Penny Mack, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and long-lasting friends. He is preceded in death by his great grandmother Margaret Hagel and grandfather Philip Mack.

A celebration of Dominick’s life will be held at a later date.
