Daniel Jacob Ridgley

It is with a profound sense of loss that we announce the passing of Daniel Ridgley, who left us suddenly on September 10, 2026, at the age of 32. Daniel was born on October 10, 1993, and throughout his life, he touched the lives of many with his presence.

Though his time with us was brief, Daniel's impact was deep and enduring. He was a cherished dad, son, and friend to many. Those who knew him will remember Daniel for his unique perspective on life and the connections he built with those around him.

Daniel's journey was marked by a love for exploration and discovery. He pursued his interests with vigor, always eager to learn and share his findings with those close to him. His family and friends often found themselves inspired by his passion and drive, which seemed boundless.

A private individual in many respects, Daniel valued the meaningful connections he forged with others. He believed in the power of genuine relationships and the comfort they brought to one's life. His friendships were a testament to his ability to listen, understand, and provide support when it was needed most.

Daniel is the loving father of Bella and Zoey, beloved son of Amy Simpson and Ryan Ridgley, Loving Nephew of Mary Muske, Heather Ridgley, Hilary Brown, Holly Young, and Alea Ridgley. He is also survived by many cousins and friends. Daniel is preceded in death by his loving Grandparents Nancy and Jim Muske, and Patricia Ridgley. 

In remembering Daniel, we celebrate a life that, while ended too soon, was filled with moments of joy, laughter, and love. His legacy will persist through the stories and memories cherished by those who knew him best.

A memorial service will be held at R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd, Livonia, MI 48154, on Saturday September 26, 2026 at 4:00 PM with visitaion starting at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flower memorial contributions can be made to Suicide Prevention organizations.

Daniel Ridgley will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His spirit lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.
