It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Curtis Earnest, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who left this world on November 1, 2025, at the age of 87. Curtis was born on May 8, 1938, in Oklahoma, where his journey began and set the stage for a life filled with love and dedication.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley Earnest, with whom he shared 32 years of marriage filled with laughter, joy, and partnership. His spirit will always be cherished by his children, Germain MR and Mildred Marie, as they carry forward his legacy of kindness and family values.
In addition to his immediate family, Curtis was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, whose memories he held dear to his heart.
Curtis devoted over 32 years of his life to a distinguished career at Detroit Diesel, where his hard work and commitment earned him the respect of colleagues and friends. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Curtis was a man of incredible warmth and compassion. He had a special love for his family, cherishing every moment with them and providing a strong foundation of support and guidance.
