Charlotte Fountain

Charlotte Louise Fountain, age 82, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026. She was born to Clyde and Ellen Hendra on April 1, 1943, in Ishpeming, Michigan.

Charlotte was the beloved wife of Richard L. Fountain for 58 wonderful years. She was a loving and devoted mother to Sharon (Edward) Holob and Richard C. (Stacy) Fountain. She was a cherished grandmother to Melissa (Marc) Streasick, Wallace Fountain, and Liam Fountain. Charlotte was the loving eldest sister of William Hendra, Evelyn Clark, and Alfred Hendra, and is also survived by many treasured nieces and nephews.

From a young age, Charlotte helped raise her siblings, and that nurturing spirit became the foundation of who she was. Being a mother came naturally to her and defined her life — not only with her own children but also with her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was the person everyone turned to for comfort, guidance, and unwavering support. Charlotte gave endlessly to others, always putting their needs before her own.

Her devotion to her husband was nothing short of a fairytale. Together, they built a life side by side, rarely apart, sharing in every joy and challenge as true partners.

Charlotte found happiness in shopping, going on adventures, watching movies, and doing crafts at home. She was loving, caring, and strong-spirited. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, resilience, and countless cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

In accordance with Charlotte’s wishes, no formal service will be held at this time. The family plans to host a Celebration of Life at a later date.
