Catherine Ann Watson

Catherine A Watson, cherished sister and loving aunt, passed away on June 24, 2026 Born from the union of Charles and Jayne Watson on October, 6th 1948. Preceded by her parents of Southgate, Uncle and Aunt, Richard and Mary Lou Lixie of Port Huron, MI and Neice Jennifer Roy of Belleville, MI. Cathy leaves behind her sisters, Wendy Hornfeld, and Laura Lee (James Lee), nieces, Amy Center (Jeremy Center) and Emily Hornfeld. Cathy also leaves many great nieces and nephews, Kayla, Elizabeth, Alyssa, Austin, Brooklyn and Gregory.

Cathy spent many years volunteering at Great Lakes Rabbit Sanctuary in Willis, MI. Her love for bunnies and cats was like no other. She adored spending time with family and close friends. Cathy also loved adventure and travel. When Cathy wasn’t having an adventure, she was an avid reader, who could get lost in a book. Cathy’s talent and love for quilting filled the remainder of her time. Beautiful quilts will be cherished by her family for years to come.

Cathy will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her legacy and love will live on through her family forever.
