Carol Jane Engler

Carol Jane Engler, Age 66, March 16, 2014, of Plano, Texas. Beloved wife of Ron Engler. Loving mother of Bill (Lori) Engler, of Wylie, Tx., and Jacquelyn (Andrew) Smith of Carrollton, Tx. Dear grandmother of Cecilia, Felicity, Lucy, Cyprian and Abraham. Great-grandmother of Collin and Parker. She is also survived by sister, Mary Jo Henn of Westland, MI and brother, John Rimshas of Westland, and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Pete & Martha Rimshas and brother, Bill Rimshas. Carol was active in the Girl Scouts and a founding member of Park Forest Civic Association in Plano, Tx. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister. Visitation will be Friday from 7 to 9 pm, with a Scripture Service at 7:30 pm at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 31551 Ford Rd., Garden City. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, at 10:00 am (in-state 9:30 am) at St. Theodore Catholic Church, 8200 Wayne Rd., Westland.
