Carol Ann Fitzsimmons

Carol Ann Fitzsimmons, of Redford, passed away at 71 years old on September 14, 2025. 

Carol was a cherished presence in her community for nearly thirty years, and she was known to lend a hand to all those in need. She loved sewing, crafting, spending time on the beach, and laughing with others. Carol loved her family, friends and animals dearly. She touched other’s lives in countless ways, and her memory will be forever cherished.

Carol was preceded by her loving parents, Wilbert and Dora Fitzsimmons, along with her older brother Gregory. She leaves behind loving siblings Doreen Stasienko, Donna Zimolzak, Kevin Fitzsimmons (Beth), and Carey Fitzsimmons. Beloved aunt to Cary Fitzsimmons-Robert (Phillip), David Orosz, Bridgette Olariu (Jason), Heather Kerby (Paul), Jason Stasienko (Karen), Kelly Yeager, Matthew Fitzsimmons (Kelly), Jennifer Fitzsimmons, Rachel Muldoon (Chris), Stephanie Candler (Les), Bradley Fitzsimmons (Emily), Collin Fitzsimmons, and Megan Fitzsimmons. Carol is also survived by her 26 great nieces and nephews, her aunt Susan Policicchio, and many cousins.
